ICT Service Delivery Technician

Our client, the U.S.’s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for an ICT Service Delivery Technician to support data center operations in Dallas, TX. This 9-month contract role is ideal for a reliable and hands-on data center technician with experience supporting server hardware, cabling, and critical IT infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with expected overtime and one week per month of on-call coverage.Job Description: • Provide on-site technical support for IT and engineering services within a data center environment • Perform hardware installation, relocation, decommissioning, and maintenance activities for servers and related equipment • Rack and stack servers, run network and power cabling, and complete patching/de-patching requests • Troubleshoot and support server hardware including memory installation, server reboots, and component replacement • Review and respond to service tickets while ensuring tasks are completed within established timeframes • Escort third-party engineers and vendors while ensuring compliance with site standards and safety procedures • Conduct visual inspections, backups, and basic troubleshooting to support critical infrastructure operations • Maintain accurate documentation including work procedures, process updates, and service records • Support network connectivity troubleshooting and general engineering housekeeping activities within the facility • Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, client representatives, and vendors to maintain efficient data center operations • Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment while adhering to operational and safety standardsMust Have Qualifications: • At least 1 year of experience in data center operations, IT hardware support, or technical service delivery • Experience replacing server hardware components and performing “hands and feet” support activities • Experience running and managing network or power cabling • Strong reliability, professionalism, and ability to follow directions • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Strong customer service and communication skills for client-facing interactions • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to meet physical requirements including extensive walking and lifting 30 lbs or more • High school diploma or GED requiredNice to Have Qualifications: • Previous data center environment experience • Data center or technical certifications • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems • Excel experience • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced critical infrastructure environments
