Wealth Management Relationship Manager
The Wealth Management Relationship Manager serves as the primary relationship manager for Stevens Foster’s clients, guiding households through financial decision-making with clarity, professionalism, and care. You build trusted relationships, develop a comprehensive understanding of each client’s goals, and coordinate seamlessly across Planning, Tax, and Investments to deliver integrated, holistic financial strategies.
This role embodies Stevens Foster’s relationship-centered advisory philosophy. You translate complex financial information into clear recommendations, lead client discussions, ensure follow-through on all action items, and support a high-touch service experience. You serve as the central connection point across internal teams, ensuring clients receive the full value of the firm’s coordinated approach.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication, empathy, and trust.
Develop a deep understanding of client goals, financial priorities, and personal circumstances.
Serve as the central point of contact for client questions, planning needs, and follow-up items.
Integrated Financial Strategy
Collaborate with Planning, Tax, and Investments to design comprehensive, personalized strategies for each client.
Communicate client goals clearly to internal teams to support accurate and timely deliverables.
Serve as the integration point across disciplines, ensuring a unified advisory approach.
Client Meetings & Communication
Lead client meetings, present strategies, and explain planning options and recommendations in a clear, approachable manner.
Prepare clients for upcoming decisions and guide them through implementation steps.
Ensure detailed documentation of meetings, actions, and decisions in Junxure.
Operational & Seasonal Responsibilities
Manage cyclical workload with flexibility during peak periods including tax season, year-end planning, and annual reviews.
Coordinate follow-through on tasks with Associates, Planners, and Operations to ensure timely completion.
Uphold confidentiality and protect sensitive client information at all times.
Professionalism & Representation
Represent Stevens Foster with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to high-quality service.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams to support a collaborative advisory environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
3–5 years of experience in individual financial planning or a similar client-facing advisory role.
Strong working knowledge of investments, executive benefits, retirement planning, and wealth management concepts.
Professional certifications (CFP®, CPA, Series 65) strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
Familiarity with estate planning terminology and complex trust structures.
Working knowledge of individual income tax planning.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning CRM and financial systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex strategies.
Strong time management, organizational discipline, and follow-through.

Compensation
Base salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience
Bonus opportunity available
Robust benefits package: including medical (PPO and HSA options with 85% employer-paid employee coverage), 100% employer-paid dental for employees, voluntary vision, employer-funded HSA contributions, company-paid life and disability insurance, pre-tax FSA options, 50% employer coverage of Minnesota Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) premiums, and a 401(k) with up to a 5% employer match after one year of service.
Schedule
Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
Additional hours may be required during peak planning periods such as tax season and year-end cycles.
