Job DescriptionJob SummaryAs a Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the procurement process to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services necessary for business operations. You will serve as an agent for the company in managing supplier relationships and activities.Responsibilities:Act as an agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier - related activities and authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreementsManage supplier performance and ensure satisfactory contract completion and closureDevelop and integrate requirements, develop requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates and awards contracts, and manages post award supplier activitiesInterface with internal and external customers and suppliersDevelop and manage procurement plans related to cost, schedule, quality, delivery, terms and conditionsEnsures planning decisions from external customers and suppliers are incorporated to ensure high quality, reliable source of supplies and informationDevelops and implements strategies to leverage the optimum prices and delivery schedules. Ensures appropriate negotiation of lead times and price keeping with these strategiesRequired Experience:BS/BA in business administration or other relevant discipline preferred3 to 10 years of experience in, procurement and/or material control in a manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of purchasing systems and proceduresWorking knowledge of DAR and FAR requiredStrong personal computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheetsCompany DescriptionWith more than one hundred years of combined experience in the Recruiting / Staffing Industry, our team has had the good fortune to partner with and learn from so many amazing industry leaders!
