Bakery Retail Clerk

Bakery Clerk We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the bakery department by picking merchandise from bins or shelves, preparing and packaging orders for shipment, and organizing merchandise efficiently. Responsibilities Pick merchandise from bins or shelves. Prepare and package orders for shipment according to customer requirements. Ensure completeness and correctness of all orders filled. Organize merchandise and fold clothing. Assist with cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor. Communicate job information to accomplish work tasks. Maintain good attendance as defined by company policy. Practice good personal hygiene and maintain a clean work area. Exercise personal safety on the job and demonstrate a commitment to the safety of others and our products. Essential Skills Experience with picking, inventory, and stocking shelves. Proficiency in computer skills. Ability to organize and assemble packs and select cases. Retail experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, bend, or crawl. Capacity to frequently reach with hands and arms and communicate effectively. Regularly sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and maneuver wheeled carts weighing up to 250 pounds. Lift up to 25 pounds from the floor repeatedly and move up to 50 pounds from waist level to pallet repeatedly. Bend to floor level repeatedly. Why Work Here? You may work Sunday-Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm or Monday-Friday from 6 am to various times, as shifts can vary. The work environment is supportive, and everyone is expected to contribute equally. Dress code includes khaki or jeans with a plain polo or nice t-shirt, and the site is tobacco-free. It is important to note that phones and glass are not allowed in most work areas. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Collegedale, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.95/hr.
