Recruiting Manager, AWS, AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) - Data Center Hiring

DescriptionAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to innovation. We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead high-volume hiring efforts for our rapidly expanding data center operations.As a Recruiting Manager within AIS, you will own end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution for data center roles across multiple locations. You will build and lead a team of recruiters who deliver exceptional candidate experiences while meeting hiring goals. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and can balance quality with velocity.The ideal candidate combines deep recruiting expertise with strong leadership skills and a passion for building diverse, high-performing teams. You will partner closely with data center operations leaders, HR business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand workforce needs and deliver talent solutions that enable AWS to scale infrastructure globally.Key job responsibilitiesOwn recruiting strategy for high-volume data center hiring across multiple job families including Data Center Technicians, Facility Engineers, Operations, and technical specialistsDevelop and execute innovative strategies to reach hiring targetsPartner with managers to understand workforce planning and translate into actionable recruiting plansDrive continuous improvement in recruiting processes, tools, and metrics increasing efficiency and candidate qualityTeam Leadership & DevelopmentBuild, lead, and develop a team of recruitersSet clear performance expectations and hold team accountable to hiring goals, quality metrics, and candidate experienceCoach recruiters on best practices, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision makingFoster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and operational excellenceConduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversationsStakeholder Management & InfluenceServe as trusted advisor to data center leaders on TA strategy and market insightsBuild strong partnerships with HR, finance, and workforce planningPresent recruiting metrics, trends, and recommendations to leadershipInfluence managers on best practices for interviewing, candidate assessment, and offersManage cross-functional initiatives related to employee experience and retentionMetrics & ReportingTrack and report on key metricsAnalyze recruiting data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvementEstablish SLA's with managers and consistently meet targetsAbout the teamAWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is the backbone of Amazon Web Services (AWS), responsible for designing, building, and operating the global network of data centers that power the AWS Cloud. AIS ensures the secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure that enables AWS customers worldwide to innovate and grow. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
