Position SummaryThe Filler Operator ensures high-quality production by operating and maintaining liquid filling machinery. This role focuses on food safety, sterilization, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable working with allergens. Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor filler equipment to ensure product conformity and food safety. Quality Control: Monitor weights, seals, and packaging; perform Quality and Critical Control Point (CCP) checks. Maintenance & Sanitation: Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures, basic preventative maintenance (PMs), and equipment troubleshooting. Changeovers: Perform efficient line clears and accurately set up packaging materials and coding for new production runs. Documentation: Maintain accurate work logs, inventory records, and safety documentation. Safety: Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements. QualificationsEducation: HS Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 1 year in food manufacturing preferred. Technical Skills: Basic math (fractions/decimals) and computer proficiency for data entry. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed. Certification: Must be LOTO certified (or able to obtain certification). Soft Skills: Strong communication, multitasking abilities, and a collaborative team mindset.
