Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. We're looking to hire an individual that is interested in joining a quickly growing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery on construction and residential sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and equipment handling to support successful project completion. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators to perform various construction tasks Manage and maneuver equipment like dump trucks Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, utilities, concrete, foundations, land clearing, and material transportation Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines Skills Proven experience in construction site operations with knowledge of heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and other brands Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for operating dump trucks Experience operating specific machinery including dozers, loaders, and excavators Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices Ability to work in physically demanding environments and operate machinery safely and efficiently This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise in heavy equipment operation within a professional construction environment.
