As an Assistant Project Manager, you will join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client's ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located onsite at the client location in Florida and requires a daily onsite presence. Key responsibilities include serving as a direct support resource to the client's Project Management Office (PMO), assisting in the coordination and delivery of multiple concurrent projects; supporting Project Managers in the planning, coordination and execution of assigned projects within the client's portfolio; tracking project performance against scope, schedule and budget baselines, ensuring variances are escalated promptly; coordinating activities between internal departments, contractors, consultants and external stakeholders to ensure alignment; maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, risk logs, meeting minutes and status reports; conducting site visits to monitor progress, verify alignment with project plans and coordinate with field personnel and inspectors; reviewing contractors pay applications and change orders for accuracy and compliance with contract terms; and assisting in coordinating project activities within an active port environment to minimize disruption to business operations.Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business or a related field; 3–7 years of experience in project coordination or project management support; demonstrated experience working on maritime or port projects; proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, ACC and MS Project; proficiency in Microsoft Office; a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms; and good to great organizational skills.Preferred qualifications include familiarity with maritime safety standards or regulatory environments and experience with public-sector procurement policies and regulations.We offer medical, dental, and vision plans; 401K, paid maternity leave, competitive PTO; employee assistance program (EAP) and more.
