Apartment Maintenance Technician

Seeking a full time (40 hours/week) Maintenance Technician for an apartment community located in Marion, IN. Responsibilities include completing service requests, unit turns and general property upkeep. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated with good customer service skills. Strong candidates should have general maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, minor carpentry, drywall and painting. On-call work will be required. Responsibilities Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion Order and replace broken parts or equipment Complete turn of vacated apartments Maintain a clean and a safe work space Perform other duties, as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to handle physical workload We are a large property management company offering the potential for future growth and advancement in the area.
