Your work will directly support safer operations across industrial, high-tech, pharmaceutical, energy, and chemical environmentslocally and globallywhile advancing ERM's mission to create a more sustainable future.What Your Impact Is:Deliver high-quality health and safety compliance support for complex client projects across North America and beyondIdentify, assess, and mitigate workplace health and safety risks through rigorous technical analysisSupport innovative EHS programs that help clients progress beyond regulatory complianceCollaborate with ERM's national and global technical experts, contributing to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvementBuild trusted client relationships by delivering projects on time, on scope, and within budgetWhat You'll Bring:RequiredBachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. Or equivalent experience2+ years of relevant experience supporting regulatory compliance and sustainable EHS programsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical informationExperience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting health and safety or industrial hygiene dataAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teamsWillingness and ability to travel to client sites across North AmericaDriver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.PreferredExperience supporting clients in High Tech, Power, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical sector environmentsCurrent or planned CIH or CSP certificationAdditional certifications such as OHST, SMS, or CHSTAbility to thrive in fast-paced, innovative client environments while consistently delivering high-quality workKey Responsibilities:Conduct qualitative and quantitative industrial hygiene and occupational risk assessmentsSupport the development and execution of IH sampling plans and field surveys, including data interpretationPerform health and safety inspections, audits, and compliance assessmentsContribute to the design and implementation of health and safety programs across areas including:Chemical and electrical safetyMachine guarding and fire preventionPowered industrial vehicles and work at heightsEmergency preparedness and responsePPE programs, hazard identification, risk analysis, and Safety Management SystemsPrepare clear, concise technical reports and client deliverablesCollaborate as an engaged team member across multiple concurrent project teamsDevelop a working knowledge of ERM's broader consulting services and support cross-selling opportunitiesFor the Consultant, Health & Safety position, the anticipated annual base pay is $81,600 $103,128 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
