Litigation Legal Secretary

A dynamic and highly regarded firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced litigation legal assistant in our Los Angeles office. This is a high-impact role supporting a fast-paced litigation team, ideal for a detail-oriented litigation legal assistant who thrives on ownership, precision, and collaboration. The successful litigation legal assistant will play a key role across the full life cycle of cases, partnering closely with attorneys to drive matters forward from inception through trial. If you are a proactive, tech-savvy litigation legal assistant looking to elevate your career within a dynamic environment, this is an exciting opportunity.Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:Serve as a senior litigation legal assistant with 5+ years of California civil litigation experience, supporting matters through the full litigation life cycleManage state, federal, and appellate filings, including e-filing and deep knowledge of court rules, procedures, and deadlinesPrepare and format legal documents, including TOCs/TOAs, discovery shells, and trial materials; assist with trial prep and trial supportMaintain complex calendaring (CompuLaw or similar), ensuring deadlines and key dates are tracked and met with precisionDemonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Pro, and document management systems (iManage or similar); familiarity with Best Authority and CCC Macros is a plusApply exceptional proofreading, redlining, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-throughCollaborate effectively with attorneys and team members, bringing a positive attitude, clear communication, and proactive approach to every caseAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
