Position Description: Director of SalesProfessional Pavement Services is a family owned, full-service paving, construction, and property maintenance contractor serving Central and Northern Ohio. We offer comprehensive, year-round construction and maintenance services, including asphalt, concrete, landscaping, power washing, and winter operations. They are responsible for forecasting, budgeting, expanding the customer base, and analyzing market trends to ensure competitive positioning. Key responsibilities include mentoring sales staff, optimizing sales processes, and reporting performance to executive leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesDivision: Multiple areas in the Central and Northern Ohio region.Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize their performance and professional development.Project Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.Customer Service: Maintain strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction.Communication: Communicate effectively with operations to report progress, address concerns, and implement solutions promptly.Documenting: Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.Establish: Sales targets, monitor progress, and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.Collaboration: Work with other departments to support business development and client retention strategies. Minimum QualificationsExperience: 5-7 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in a leadership or management role.Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.Driver's License: Valid driver's license required. Must meet an insurability standard.Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a drug test as part of a drug-free workplace policy.Phone: Must have cell phone to clock in and out daily, log jobs, and follow other company communications. Preferred QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
