With locations in Albany and Clifton Park, this role offers a chance to join a physician-led practice with a well-established neurology department that is actively integrating and expanding its services.We are dedicated to excellence in patient care and innovation in neurological treatments. Our practice has recently transitioned to a modern, state-of-the-art office designed to enhance both patient experiences and provider satisfaction.Position OverviewOutpatient role, Monday to Friday, with a shared call rotation among providers.Join an established practice consisting of 3 full-time physicians and 2 advanced practitioners, focusing on general neurology care in the outpatient setting and inpatient rounding/consultation at a local hospital.Shared rotational call with robust practice support.Proficiency in EMG/NCS and EEG is required.Opportunities for sleep study reading are available.Sub-specialty options, including MS and Headache Center, with strong Hospitalist support.Dedicated days for specialization in neuromuscular and epilepsy for those with relevant expertise.QualificationsBoard Certification in Neurology is required.Fellowship training in various sub-fields is welcomed but not mandatory, as general care is the primary focus.Applicants should demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills, along with a strong commitment to team-oriented patient care.A desire to provide general neurological care is essential.This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Neurologist to join our organization.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:Compensation ranging from $340,000 to $360,000.The stated salary reflects the starting range and does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift incentives, or other forms of cash compensation applicable to the position. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is subject to variation based on the factors mentioned.Starting bonus of $25,000.Retention bonus of $15,000 upon reaching the 2-year anniversary.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance.Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.5 days of CME time with a $4,500 expense allowance.27 days of paid time off.403B retirement savings plan with employer matching.Relocation assistance available up to $25,000 for those moving from outside the Capital Region.Our institution qualifies for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
