MechanicReports to: Garage Manager Location: Fleet Maintenance Facility (6651 Baertown Rd Dover) Hours: Thursday - Saturday 5:00am - 5:30pm SummaryThe Ohio Fleet Maintenance team is looking to add to its team. ProVia's private fleet of trucks and trailers continues to grow, and the need for qualified technicians is growing as well. This candidate will need to be well versed in the repair of semi tractors and trailers. The candidate must also uphold and represent ProVia's Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values. Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Repair of semi-trucks and semi-trailers. • Reading diagnostics and diagnosing repairs from the findings. • Complete tire service Knowledge and Skills Requirements• Minimum of 3 years of commercial repair of tractors and trailers. • Diagnostic experience and troubleshooting experience. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial truck industry. • Willing to work unique hours (After hours call-in, weekends) • Certifications are desired but not required. Communication Skills• Verbal/Nonverbal - Convey easily and quickly any message. Speaks clearly; listens attentively and seeks clarification. • Responds well to questions and maintains professional communication. • Ability to make decisions under pressure. • Ability to work independently. Organizational Skills• Multi-tasks; efficient time management; deadline oriented; meets commitments; and prompt responses. • Must have knowledge of how to use a tablet. Must be willing to be trained with our shops Work Order system to document repairs and all work completed. Physical DemandsAbility to stand, for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
