Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Overview Lead and manage a team of ~10 warehouse employees in w 10,000 SQFT warehouse with minimal oversight (CEO lives out of state). Report directly to the CEO. The company is a start-up e-commerce bourbon retailer. This position requires a motivated self-starter who is 100% in charge of all warehouse operations. Compensation: $90,000 Responsibilities: Leadership - Directly manage a team of ~10 warehouse employees (manage shifts, training, motivating performance feedback, and hiring) Operational Efficiency - Implement and improve warehouse procedures (inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving products) Inventory Management - Manage and forecast inventory and material levels ($MM) Communication - Effectively communicate both up and down (report directly to the CEO) Problem-Solving - 100% in charge of the warehouse - forecast issues and implement improvements Growth - Forecast and plan for a new warehouse Management - Report directly to the CEO/Owner Qualifications: College Degree or higher (major in engineering, management, or business a plus) Proven direct personnel leadership experience of 5 yrs+ Experience with hourly workforce Experience in military, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or construction a plus About Company Oakstone Spirits Co. is a family-owned bourbon distributor dedicated to sourcing the finest small-batch and craft bourbons from distilleries across the US.
