CT Tech Nuclear Medicine | Chula Vista, California
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare imaging professional with expertise in Nuclear Medicine is needed for a contract position in Chula Vista, CA. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens Symbia INTEVO and EVO cameras, to perform various nuclear medicine and CT examinations. A typical day involves conducting 4 to 6 diagnostic studies, with busy periods accommodating up to 7 or 8 exams.
Responsibilities include:
Providing patient and family-centered care that supports individualized goals for health and wellness
Conducting thorough assessments, developing care plans, and delivering safe, therapeutic imaging services
Promoting quality outcomes through vigilant monitoring and clinical evaluation
Collaborating with clinical teams to manage complex or high-risk cases and ensure coordinated care
Advocating for patients and families to guarantee excellent care experiences
Schedule details:
Variable shifts Monday through Friday (6:30 AM-3:00 PM, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, or 8:30 AM-5:30 PM)
Every other weekend, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
On-call availability with a 45-minute response time; the Nuclear Medicine Tech may remotely coordinate dose orders and communicate with providers before arriving on-site

Proficiency in Nuclear Medicine and CT technologies
Experience operating Siemens Symbia INTEVO and EVO imaging systems is preferred
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
