If you feel your experience aligns with the majority of the requirements and you’re excited about the opportunity to join an innovative, fun team that is leading in workplace design, we’d love to hear from you.Position OverviewThe job of a Senior Project Manager with M Moser Associates you will play a key role in elevating our quality of client care, implementing exceptional project execution. It is a leadership position where you will be responsible for managing a team, and at times directly manage large-scale or smaller complex, interior and architectural projects from inception to completion. The role extends through both the design and delivery of our projects. Your involvement on the projects begins as early as preparation of proposals, initial client interview, preplanning, and programming, working closely with design team throughout test fit, schematic and design development to ensure the design integrity and overseeing the team maintaining quality, detail and continuity during construction. The Senior Project Manager owns the project success and leads the people to deliver a completed project, inclusive of scheduling, budgeting and coordination of internal and external resources and vendors. Primary Responsibilities:Work closely with office leadership to create and communicate clear and attainable project criteria and objectivesLead a team to develop client solutions and solve complex problems Collaborate with design team, consultants, and contractors to share project delivery expertise in order to create inventive, well-crafted environments Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned large scale workplace design and design/build projectsEnsure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budgetCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendorsManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesTake a lead role in clearly defining and communicating all aspects of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibilityMonitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specificationsPerform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project statusTravel regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetingJob RequirementsTo be a successful Senior Project Manager, you possess extensive experience in the type of work we deliver, and the ability to lead and coach others to successful results. You are someone who sees problems differently, you are organized in your thinking and dig into problems with a focus on finding solutions. As our Senior Project Manager, you are proactive in forecasting and mitigating problems before they arise and are able to put yourself in the clients’ shoes. It is very important that you naturally understand and leverage your and the team’s strengths to produce the best outcome possible for your team, our company, our partners and most importantly, our clients.Qualifications & Key Competencies:10+ years’ experience working in a similar capacity, experience with workplace preferred.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.Project Management Certification is an assetExperience with delivering technically complex designs as project manager or leaderExperience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Able to generate concepts using SketchUp, Revit, InDesign and Adobe Suite preferred.LEED or Well accreditation preferred.Excellent written and verbal communications skillsPossess strong people, project leadership and planning skillsProven fiscal accountability and responsiblyProven schedule development and managementExperience with entire project lifecycle, pre-planning through post occupancyThrives on innovation and naturally seeks out ways to enhance the project process to elevate the client experience and strengthen communication at every stage of the project.SUMMARYIf you are a Project Manager who has:• 10+ years of experience managing projects within the design and/or design-build space• Successfully led multiple large-scale and complex workplace interior projects simultaneously• A proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget• A strong track record of maintaining excellent client relationships and satisfaction• An open-minded, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and kind approach…we can’t wait to meet you!TO APPLYPlease submit a resume including a project list through this job posting, or email us directly at meaghans@mmoser.com.
