Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer
We are currently seeking highly skilled Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer with experience in Allen Bradley PLCs to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, programming, and commissioning automation systems and will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing control systems as well as implementing new control solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems using Allen Bradley platforms
* Develop and maintain HMI applications using FactoryTalk View or other relevant software
* Troubleshoot and debug automation systems to ensure proper functioning and performance
* Develop functional specifications and design documentation for control systems
* Perform testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with design requirements and customer specifications
* Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Provide technical support to customers and field service technicians
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and programming Allen Bradley PLCs
* Proficient in using FactoryTalk View or other HMI software
* Strong understanding of control system design, programming, and commissioning
* Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus
* Experience in the design and programming of VFDs, Servos, and Motion Control systems is a plus
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support or project installations
