With you we can build a remarkable place to work.Exceptional Benefits:Minimum of 3 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)Company Vehicle ProgramMentorship CultureMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchMileage ReimbursementCutting Edge TechnologyKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Scheduler you will be responsible for all patient scheduling, providing routing for all clinical staff, and ensuring that all computer data entry for each patient is accurate and complete.In this role you will be responsible for:Contact patients via phone to make provider appointments and ensure patients accept the date and time of visitContacts senior living communities / assisted living facilities where patients reside to make and confirm appointmentsHandle all calls concerning patient appointments and scheduling changes from the patient and/or providerPerform accurate data entry when adding patient information into electronic medical recordsPerform all necessary updating of data in database regarding demographic and service location informationEnsure new patients are scheduled and that follow-up appointments are rescheduled appropriatelySchedule all annual wellness visits within the allotted time dictated by the payor sourceEnsure most efficient schedules are created to assist providers in meeting productivity requirementsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious office experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read maps with a general knowledge of the demographic areaDesired QualificationsScheduling experienceLocationHome Office: Grand Rapids, MIHours8:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday through FridayPay Range$14 - $17.20 USDBackground Screening Optimal Care conducts a background screening upon acceptance of a contingent job offer.
