Construction Foreman

Commercial Construction Foreman Volution Development Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Foreman to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong field management skills who can coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, enforce quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $65,000 – $75,000/year (based on experience) Bonus: Performance-based bonuses per project (based on budget, schedule, safety, and overall performance) Bonus Payout: Within 30 days of project closeout Full-time, salaried position Key ResponsibilitiesField Supervision & Site Management Oversee daily job site operations from project startup through completion Supervise subcontractors, labor crews, and field personnel Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project schedules Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Coordinate daily activities to maximize productivity and efficiency Scheduling & Project Execution Work closely with Project Managers to maintain project schedules and milestones Coordinate subcontractor sequencing and material deliveries Proactively identify and resolve field issues, delays, and conflicts Review drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution Assist with project planning, logistics, and manpower coordination Quality Control & Safety Monitor workmanship and ensure high-quality construction standards are maintained Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety compliance Ensure all OSHA and company safety procedures are followed Coordinate inspections with municipalities, clients, and third-party inspectors Address punch list items and ensure timely project closeout Communication & Documentation Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and site logs Communicate project status, delays, and field issues to Project Managers Assist with documenting change orders, field conditions, and completed work Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and clients Material & Equipment Coordination Manage onsite materials, equipment, and inventory Verify deliveries and ensure materials are available ahead of scheduled work Coordinate equipment usage and site logistics efficiently Help minimize waste and control field-related project costs Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent in commercial construction preferred Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades onsite Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and job site compliance Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Experience with BuilderTREND preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Why Join Volution Development Group?
