Become an Aircraft Detailer Lead-DOT at PrimeFlight! Our Aircraft Detailer Lead DOT is responsible for leading and coordinating teams of detailers in the cleaning and maintenance of aircraft exteriors and interiors. This role requires the individual to train and supervise staff, ensuring that all detailing work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations. The Aircraft Detailer Lead must also manage supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper maintenance. Additionally, this position often involves quality inspection of completed work, providing feedback, and liaising with other airport and airline personnel to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Coordinate and assign detailing tasks to team members
Train and mentor new and existing staff in advanced aircraft detailing techniques
Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards during detailing processes
Monitor and manage the workflow to meet deadlines and airline schedules
Inspect aircraft after detailing to ensure compliance with company and airline standards
Provide expert guidance on the use of specialized cleaning products and equipment
Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and guidelines, including overseeing the safe and legal operation of airport vehicles, equipment, and personnel involved in airside and landside operations
You have a great attention to detail
You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks
Several years of Management or Supervisory skills
Strong customer service skills
Like to build long term relationships with your customers

Stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 70 pounds or more
Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment
Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 18 years old
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
Reliable Transportation
1 Year of aviation cleaning experience
Knowledge of the Aviation Industry
Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets
Ability to pass a drug screen
Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
