The Impact You Will Have As a Principal Partner Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Coupe Health products for our national carrier and TPA partners. You will play a critical role in cultivating and expanding relationships across carriers, TPAs, and broker/consultant partners - ensuring alignment and a best ‑ in ‑class experience across our distribution ecosystem. This role is central to partner success—balancing relationship management, execution, operational excellence and strategic growth—while consistently delivering a best ‑ in ‑ class experience for partners, brokers, and employer clients. Your Responsibilities: Strategic Partner Relationship Management Cultivate and deepen relationships with assigned health plans and TPAs. Build and maintain strong relationships across business partners and supporting staff within the ecosystem. Provide oversight, guidance, and ensure resolution for partner escalations. Develop and maintain internal Strategic Account Plans (SAPs) to align cross‑functional teams around partner goals. Manage the overall health of the partnership and its support of groups, including delivery of Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews. Growth, Renewals, and Revenue Enablement Oversee contracting and renewal activity for an assigned book of business. Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and obligations. Provide consultation and guidance to increase adoption of Coupe/SimplePay for slice business, with a focus on movement toward full replacement. Drive adoption of additional solutions that create incremental revenue opportunities. Operational Excellence & Execution Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices. Monitor data, reporting, and performance against Service‑Level Agreements (SLAs). Develop and maintain processes for tracking partner performance and satisfaction. Collaborate closely with Implementation, Operations Support, Sales, Product, and Marketing to support partner success. Engage directly with employer groups as needed to present Coupe solutions and deliver employer‑level communications. Analyze market trends and partner feedback to inform strategic and operational decisions. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates supporting partner accounts. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years managing national health plan partners, with experience in sales, strategic accounts, or channel management. Possess and maintain a valid Producer License in the lines of Life & Health/ Accident within 60 days of employment. Experience carrying a quota or at-risk compensation. Deep understanding of the health plan ecosystem, including TPAs and national brokers/consultants. Proven success in partner enablement, including KPI development and monitoring, training, sales support, and customer service coordination. Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with leadership, sales, marketing, product, and operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations. Negotiation and contracting experience. Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time to support partner activities, sales meetings, or other essential meetings requiring in-person attendance. High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree. Experience working with jumbo national carriers (UHC, CVS/Aetna, Elevance, Kaiser, Centene, Humana, Cigna). Background in alternative health plan models. Advanced project management experience leading cross-functional teams. Role Designation Teleworker Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a minimum of 2 days onsite. Onsite is full-time onsite. Compensation and Benefits $128,900.00 - $138,900.00 - $148,900.00 Annual + Commission Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
