The person in this role will be responsible for the creation and deployment of social media assets supporting The Kendall Group's campaign and brand initiatives.Exciting work you will do:The essential duties and responsibilities of the Social Media Specialist position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Create the content strategy and calendar for all Kendall Group social platforms and profiles along with the Marketing Communications teamMaintain all social profiles including regularly auditing & updating imagery, descriptions, and links to ensure accurate information across all platformsDevelop and deploy engaging social content, both through strategic planning and real-time content creation for each business division; proactively seek out innovative content opportunities and create high quality content, including graphics, short form video, and copy, tailoring content to specific social media channelsManage the social inbox for all divisions, replying to social conversations and customer service inquiries, and escalate issues as neededMaintain The Kendall Group's brand identity standards and ensure ongoing brand awareness and consistency in all creative materials for social media. Maintain consistent brand voice across all platformsCreate reporting dashboards to track social KPis and goals that can be shared with marketing leadership; evaluate social media analytics to inform future strategiesStay up to date on social media advertising tactics to best deploy and advise on opportunities and best practicesCollaborate with marketing communications team on integrated campaigns, advising on best practices for social media engagement and paid advertisingAnalyze existing and emerging social channels to advise which channels make sense for each part of the business and identify opportunities for expansion or enhancements to current social presenceCurate social advocacy content for our field team to amplify campaign, brand, and partner messages that position The Kendall Group as industry leadersOther duties as assignedCompetencies you possess:Service ExcellenceResults, Action OrientedAccountability and responsibilityTeamwork and collaborationDecision qualityPriority SettingPlanning and OrganizingWhat you'll need:Work Experience: 2 years of experience in social media management, including organic and paidEducation: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related fieldAnalytics/Computer Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and content creation tools with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design; experience with social publishing tools such as Oktopost, Hootsuite, Sprout Social; familiarity with emerging social media platformsOrganization Skills: Strong attention to detail; ability to multitask and meet deadlinesCross-functional skills: Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment; assertive and resourceful approach to problem solvingCommunication Skills: Excellent communication skillsPhysical, Mental and Visual Skills: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
