A 65-bed acute care hospital in northern rural Maine is adding an Anesthesiologist.Well-known for its patient-centered services, the hospital and its staff have won numerous state and national awards for quality in both customer service and clinical performance. The Hospital has over 500 employees, 40 active medical staff providers, 125 courtesy and consulting physicians, and 30 volunteers.About the Opportunity: Join a strong Anesthesiology practice in a dynamic community that is economically, culturally, and socially inviting The team includes 2 Anesthesiologists and 5 CRNAs Option to workeither a schedule of 26 weeks per year (generally on a two-on, two-off rotation) or 13 weeks per year (generally 1-on and three-off rotation) Call will be 1:2 or 1:3, respectively, and will coincide with the two-on, two-off rotation or 1-on 3-off rotation 5 OR suites The number of cases per year is approximately 2500 Compensation and Benefits: Hospital-employed position with robust salary Benefits include health insurance, malpractice insurance, and up to $600 per year for professional licensing and subscriptions 6 weeks off CME funds and relocation assistance Education loan repayment is available Community/Location: A small city in northern Aroostook County, Maine, close to the Canadian border This community of 7000 people is known for its long winters and strong agricultural roots The town experiences all four seasons, with snowy winters and mild summers, and has an abundance of outdoor recreation 3 hours from Bangor and 5 hours to Portland JV-16
