Building & Facilities Maintenance Technician Distribution Center
Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ongoing repairs and preservation of the physical asset of the warehouse and assisting the maintenance manager with other responsibilities. This includes maintaining a clean environment for employees and visitors.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure general maintenance of facility and property replacing lighting, repairing equipment, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the property
Assist in general facility maintenance and repairs, setup/movement of items, carpentry, plumbing, refurbishing, or painting
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical and HVAC equipment
Performs tasks to maintain the Distribution Center facilities
Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
Maintain corporate safety procedures at all times and comply with access control regulations
Property maintenance
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
Assist in other general maintenance duties
Proactively looks for any maintenance problems or emergency situations and reports them to the Maintenance Manager for planning and resolution as they emerge
Communicate with the Maintenance Manager about any work that requires outside expert assistance
Inspect and evaluate all mechanical aspects of the building
QualificationsEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3 plus years experience in commercial building maintenance. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of design software programs is a plus.

Position Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.
Compensation: $17.75 - $23.05
Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy. Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
