Building & Facilities Maintenance Technician - Distribution Center
Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ongoing repairs and preservation of the physical asset of the warehouse and assisting the maintenance manager with other responsibilities. This includes maintaining a clean environment for employees and visitors.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Ensure general maintenance of facility and property replacing lighting, repairing equipment, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the propertyAssist in general facility maintenance and repairs, setup/movement of items, carpentry, plumbing, refurbishing, or paintingPerform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical and HVAC equipmentPerforms tasks to maintain the Distribution Center facilitiesWork with tools and supplies necessary to complete projectsMaintain corporate safety procedures at all times and comply with access control regulationsProperty maintenancePerform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipmentAssist in other general maintenance dutiesProactively looks for any maintenance problems or emergency situations and reports them to the Maintenance Manager for planning and resolution as they emergeCommunicate with the Maintenance Manager about any work that requires outside expert assistanceInspect and evaluate all mechanical aspects of the buildingLS1AQualificationsEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3 plus years experience in commercial building maintenance. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of design software programs is a plus.Certificates and Licenses: None RequiredPosition Hiring RangeThe hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.Compensation: $17.75 - $23.05Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.
