Client Care - Pet Services Retail Rep
At Urban Pooch Canine Life Center, our mission is to offer a unique and enriching experience for both dogs and their owners. We are currently seeking a full-time Client Care - Pet Services Retail Rep to join our team and contribute to our commitment to exceptional customer service and retail excellence. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour! Aside from earning great pay, you can also enjoy employee discounts on products and services!
You will work a flexible schedule that includes shifts Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sundays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As a Client Care - Pet Services Retail Rep, you will utilize our PetExec software to manage check-in and check-out processes for daycare and boarding services, update client records, and oversee scheduling. You will handle various administrative tasks such as composing emails, responding to client inquiries, and communicating with clients about their pets' drop-off, pickup, and service needs. In addition to customer interactions, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our workspace, community storage areas, and feeding rooms. You will process client transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience.
Your role will also involve facilitating the movement of dogs between daycare and training sessions, as well as preparing meals and medications as required. In the retail aspect of your position, you will assist clients in the selection and purchase of our products. You will manage inventory by inputting quantities, pricing, and displaying items, and ensure that the storefront remains well-stocked, clean, and inviting.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A CLIENT CARE - PET SERVICES RETAIL REP?
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year(s) of customer service
Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization and maintain client relationships and customer satisfaction
Experience with Microsoft Office and OS operating programs
Ability to sort, count, and accurately calculate currency change and totals
Good math skills
Previous experience in the pet care industry, specifically in customer service and retail, is not required but highly preferred.
