Security Guard

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Duties - Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules - Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure security - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances - Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences - Warn violators of rule infractions and apprehend or evict violators if necessary Qualifications - Experience in security-related roles such as law enforcement or military is preferred - Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques - Ability to handle emergency situations with composure - Certification in First Aid, CPR, or conflict management is a plus - Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and techniques Job Type: Contract Pay: $25.50 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Relocation assistance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday On call Work Location: On the road
