Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The CST will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing and assembling instruments, maintaining sterile fields, anticipating surgeon needs, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team.Minimum Requirements:Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.Minimum 2 years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist or OR Tech in a surgical environment.Experience working in an acute care hospital operating room setting.Familiarity with standard OR instrumentation, sterile technique, and surgical case setup for general, orthopedic, and robotic-assisted procedures.Ability to follow perioperative policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.American Heart Association or equivalent BLS card current at start date.Preferred: CST certification through NBSTSA if not already listed, and prior experience at a high-volume or academic hospital.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift name: Days.Shift details: Days 0630-1700.Assignment specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room (OR).Location HighlightsIrving, TX offers convenient access to urban and recreational amenities within a short commute.
