ResponsibilitiesInspect product for any quality issues that could affect the final appearance of the paint process.Prepare parts for painting through inspection, surface prep., and surface cleaning with wax and grease remover.Mix coatings with reducer and catalyst at correct mixtures, using color mixture equipmentConsistently apply primers/topcoat with gravity fed or pressure fed spray equipmentApply all coats with spray equipment to meet coverage and gloss standardsRead and record dry paint thickness using a Mil Reader.Must have the ability to correct errors in applications.Maintain spray equipment to meet operational standards.Maintain paint booth cleanliness and filter changes.Ensure that any hazardous waste is handled and disposed of properly.Know spill response procedures and evacuation plan.Must keep the work area safe and clean to 5S standards.QualificationsQuality MindedGood AttendanceMulti TaskFollow InstructionsSome Experience Preferred
