divh2Family Medicine Physician With Obstetrics (MD/DO)/h2pThe Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics provides comprehensive, continuous medical care to patients of all ages, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care. This role emphasizes preventive care, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, womens health, and obstetric services, while coordinating care across the healthcare continuum to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliProvide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients/liliDeliver full-spectrum obstetric care, including prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum follow-up, consistent with training and privileges/liliPerform routine gynecologic care, including well-woman exams, contraception counseling, and cervical cancer screening/liliDiagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions/liliDeliver preventive care including health maintenance, screenings, and immunizations/liliManage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and cardiovascular disease/liliPerform office-based procedures and obstetric procedures as appropriate/liliCoordinate care with obstetrics, pediatrics, specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services/liliProvide patient education regarding wellness, pregnancy, disease prevention, and treatment plans/liliMaintain accurate, timely clinical documentation/liliParticipate in quality improvement, population health, and patient safety initiatives/liliSupervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, and clinical staff as applicable/liliComply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school/liliCompletion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program with obstetrical training/liliBoard-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine/liliAbility to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure/liliDEA registration or eligibility/liliBLS and ACLS required; additional obstetric certifications as required by scope of practice/li/ulh3Skills and Competencies/h3ulliBroad clinical expertise across the lifespan, including obstetric care/liliStrong diagnostic, procedural, and clinical decision-making skills/liliAbility to manage both routine and urgent obstetric situations/liliExcellent communication and patient counseling abilities/liliCommitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliOutpatient clinic, labor and delivery unit, and hospital setting/liliCall coverage including obstetrics as determined by practice needs/li/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout clinic and hospital environments/liliManual dexterity for examinations, office-based, and obstetric procedures/liliVisual and auditory acuity sufficient for patient assessment and delivery care/li/ulpMust maintain state certification and/or licensure./p/div
