You’ll help develop the next generation of residential products, apps, and services. You’ll gain experience in many different areas and have the opportunity to make a real impact to the company and real estate industry.This position is located in Arlington, VA with a 4 day onsite (Monday-Thursday) and 1-day work-from-home schedule.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globallyDesign and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainabilityPromote consistent architecture patterns for design and development within and across Homes development teamsCollaborate closely with other Software Engineers across the organization.Advocate standards-driven technologyFacilitate discussions among other .NET and database developers to exchange new ideas and improvementsContinually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university(preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field)A track record of commitment to prior employers5+ years of production development experience with C#, .NET (or .NET Core) and/or PythonExperience delivering products that meet specifications and performance SLAExperienced in unit, performance, and automation testingDeeply understand what drives the business for which you are building softwarePreferred Qualifications And SkillsExperience in relational database design (AWS RDS, MS SQL) including performance tuningExperience with AWS S3, Step Functions, Lambda, SQS, Dynamo, ElastiCache, Apache Kafka and DatadogA demonstrable track record of building and launching successful products and platformsWhat’s In It For YouWhen you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
