Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float position in a hospital setting Primary floating support to Med Surg unit Night shift hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Alternating schedule of 36 and 48 hours per week (3x12 and 4x12 shifts) Weekend work required, which may include most weekends during the contract Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules cannot be approved Epic EMR experience strongly preferred Requirements Active TX or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Travel nursing experience strongly preferred Current BLS certification required Must be willing to float, primarily to Med Surg 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information 13-week contract Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all products that could produce a positive result, including CBD, prior to and during the assignment Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-683751.
