This role blends responsibilities across HR operations, employee experience, onboarding, office operations, and culture programming.This individual will play a visible role within the organization, helping shape the day-to-day employee experience while ensuring operational excellence across people processes and workplace management. In addition to core HR and administrative responsibilities, this role will lead onboarding coordination, support internal communications, help drive engagement initiatives, and organize company-wide meetings, town halls, and employee events.The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys balancing operational detail with people interaction, and is excited to contribute to a growing organization’s culture and employee experience strategy.This position is based in our Chicago office with an in-office expectation of four days per week and one flexible remote day.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Operations & Employee ExperienceLead onboarding coordination for new hires, including scheduling, orientation support, workspace readiness, and cross-functional onboarding logisticsServe as a key point of contact for employee experience initiatives, helping foster an engaging, collaborative, and inclusive workplace cultureCoordinate and lead internal employee engagement activities, office events, celebrations, and culture-building initiativesOrganize and support company town halls, leadership meetings, all-hands sessions, and internal communications effortsProvide first-level HR support and respond to general employee inquiriesMaintain HR documentation, employee records, and confidential files with a high degree of accuracy and discretionSupport HR reporting, reconciliations, audits, and operational tracking activitiesAdminister and maintain HR systems and employee databases, ensuring data integrity and timely updatesPartner cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, IT, recruiting, and operations teams on employee-related initiatives and internal programmingAssist in developing scalable people operations processes and improving employee experience workflowsOffice & Administrative OperationsOversee day-to-day office operations to ensure an organized, welcoming, and efficient workplace environmentCoordinate travel arrangements and logistics for employees, visitors, and leadership as neededManage office vendors, supplies, shipments, mail, and workplace-related coordinationPartner with IT and operations teams on equipment procurement, onboarding setup, and office readinessSupport meeting coordination, space planning, and onsite event logisticsAssist with general administrative support including scheduling, document preparation, filing, and operational coordinationWhat We’re Looking For3–5 years of experience across HR operations, people operations, employee experience, office management, or workplace operationsStrong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, collaborative, and service-oriented approachExperience coordinating onboarding programs, employee engagement initiatives, events, or internal communicationsComfortable working cross-functionally with employees and leaders across multiple teamsHigh level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential informationExperience with HR systems, reporting, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace toolsExperience supporting high-growth or fast-paced environments preferredWhat Success Looks LikeEmployees have a seamless and welcoming onboarding experienceInternal events, town halls, and engagement initiatives are well organized and positively receivedHR operations and employee records are maintained accurately and efficientlyThe office environment is collaborative, organized, and operationally effectiveLeaders and employees view this role as a trusted operational and culture partnerWhy Join UsOpportunity to help shape employee experience and culture within a growing global organizationExposure to senior leadership and cross-functional business operationsHigh-impact role with visibility across HR, operations, and culture initiativesCollaborative and entrepreneurial work environment with strong growth potential
