At iCode, we are dedicated to developing the 'whole' student.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time, on-site role for a K-12 STEAM Instructor located in Sammamish, WA. The STEAM Instructor will be responsible for leading and facilitating engaging classes focusing on subjects such as robotics, game design, computer programming, and digital arts. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, evaluating student progress, and fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. The instructor will also be responsible for maintaining the classroom tech and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.QualificationsExperience in Robotics, Game Design, Computer Programming, and Digital ArtsStrong skills in facilitating and teaching small-group classesAbility to prepare and implement lesson plans effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Python, Java, HTML & CSS, and other programming languagesAbility to work collaboratively with students and staffStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom technologyExperience with educational technology tools is a plusBachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
