Overnight Security Guard

This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting, ensuring peace of mind around the clock. *Duties* * Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors * Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including perimeter checks and interior inspections to uphold physical security standards * Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies following established emergency response procedures * Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences with clarity and accuracy * Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as part of security protocols * Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly and professionally while maintaining safety *Requirements* * Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on physical security and surveillance * Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patrol duties in various conditions * Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, Taser use, firearm handling (if applicable), and conflict management are highly desirable * Strong understanding of compliance with security regulations and protocols to ensure lawful operations at all times * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse individuals * Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, perform patrols, and conduct heavy lifting when necessary Embark on a role where your vigilance makes a difference!
