System Administrator (Windows/RHEL) (Hybrid)

DPP is seeking a System Administrator for Windows Server and RHEL for an opportunity in Lansing, Michigan.Work arrangement:Hybrid, onsite Monday and TuesdayW2 position; 12 months with possibility of extensionPosition description:The System Administrator is expected to install systems and application components and configure them on Windows and Linux environments.  The Sys Admin will also be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.  Ensuring application and infrastructure security following Federal, State and industry standards are also an essential trait in this role.  This position requires heavy collaboration with vendors, customers, and other technical areas to understand and execute projects and changes timely.Top skills:The System Administrator is expected to be proficient and knowledgeable with the following tools and technologies (5+ years of experience):Windows Server administration (2016 and later)RHEL 7.0 and aboveCloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/GCPTomcatIISMS SQL Management StudioDynatrace/ Similar debug toolsXMLPowerShellAzure DevOpsVisioSSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID)Network knowledge LAN/WANArchitectureFirewallsIOT, etc.Responsibilities:The System Administrator will maintain various COTS applications and help configure changes as required for some SAAS products.To serve in this capacity the System Administrator should have thorough analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server support duties.Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:The System Administrator is expected to be proficient and knowledgeable with the following tools and technologies:  Windows Server administration (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0 and above, Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/GCP, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, Dynatrace/ Similar debug tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), Network knowledge LAN/WAN, Architecture, Firewalls, IOT, etc. Interested?
