Description
GENERAL PURPOSE
This position is responsible for properly separating and processing Precision's clients' materials for commercial cleaning and sanitization processing. Additionally, this position will be able to recognize the correct linen materials belonging to the account being processed. Ensuring that no mixed, dirty, or damaged linen is fed into the machine or hand-folded before processing. The work environment is fast-paced and focused on performance, safety procedures, customer satisfaction, and enjoyment. Additionally, Production Operators will help ensure that the machinery is working properly by communicating with their leaders about any issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Unload and weigh clients' materials for processing.
§ Separate materials.
§ Wash, dry, and reclaim items such as sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, and mats.
§ Feed machinery with these items.
§ Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
§ Ensure that the linen being processed belongs to the assigned account.
§ Identify and properly place any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen in the correct containers.
§ Sanitize and clean equipment
§ Maintain a clean, safe, organized and welcoming warehouse and office areas
§ Requirements:

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
§ High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
§ Preferred - 3 months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry.
§ Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling.
§ Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
§ Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
§ Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives.
§ Ability to work in a team environment and alone.
§ Good communication, both orally and written in English.
§ Must have good attention to detail.
