Applicant must have strong communication skills, capable of self-supervision. Applicant should be flexible to meet the needs of DOJO, including swing shift schedules. Applicant must be able to conduct training in all facility environments, including within the Dojo, on the Manufacturing floor, along with outside. Applicant must be able to coordinate and communicate with all Manufacturing Supervisors professionally.Training for this position will require a 1st shift schedule for 6-12 monthsPosition ResponsibilitiesThe trainer is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:• Training all new memberso Policy'so Standard Work Instructions and Visualso Products and defecto Gauge trainingo Production Inspection• Training Selective memberso Lock Out Tag Outo Fork Truck Testingo Tugger Testing• Monthly Audits• Complete Floor Side Management Classes• CPR Certified• Learning new products and all features before they are introduced to production• 5S within the departmentThese responsibilities are also subject to change according to the needs of the department & companyEssential Skills and Experience• Multi-tasking• Organizational• Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint• MQ1 knowledge• Andon SystemBeneficial Skills and Experience• Product KnowledgeEducation/Training/Certifications (preferred but not required)• Associate degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two- or four-year college or technical school, or two (2) to four (4) years related experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience.Travel Requirements• Approximately 1 %• Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.Work Environment Requirements• Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.• Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline with satisfactory quality.• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.Attendance/Work Hour Requirements• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
