Pump Mechanic

This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your skills directly impact operations that communities depend on.The Pump Mechanic will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, measuring, diagnosing, and rebuilding a wide range of industrial pumps, including split case, end suction, submersible, and vertical turbine pumps. You will work with leading equipment brands such as Flygt, KSB, Peerless, Ingersoll Rand, Flowserve, and Worthington, while also performing gearbox and transmission tear-downs, inspections, and reassembly. This role requires the ability to read and interpret pump cut sheets and exploded diagrams, identify worn or failed components, and ensure equipment is rebuilt to precise specifications. This is a first-shift position (6:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday) with consistent overtime opportunities.The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of experience working on medium to large industrial pumps, along with a strong mechanical background that includes gearbox or transmission disassembly and setup. Candidates must have their own tools and demonstrate the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
