Senior AWS Integration Developer - Remote
Overview:
In this role you will design, develop, and support enterprise-scale integration solutions across cloud, on-premises, and third-party apps using AWS and modern serverless architectures. You'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable integration services and APIs. You will mentor peers and shape integration patterns while addressing performance, security, and reliability challenges. This position offers hands-on work with AWS-native technologies in a remote setup, impacting how systems connect across the organization. It's a chance to drive modernization of legacy integrations in a large enterprise context. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade integration solutions using Python and C#/.NETBuild serverless and event-driven architectures with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNSDevelop REST APIs, microservices, and integration services across cloud, on-premises, and third-party systems Create reliable workflows for data movement, orchestration, and business process automation Integrate enterprise applications via secure APIs and services Apply best practices for code quality, security, scalability, resiliency, observability, and performance Implement logging, monitoring, alerting with CloudWatch and related AWS services Diagnose and resolve complex integration and production issues Optimize existing integrations for performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices Participate in architecture discussions and modernize legacy patterns Collaborate with solution architects, analytics, and infrastructure teams to deliver quality solutions Provide technical guidance and mentorship and contribute to development standards
Key requirements:
- 10+ years of software development and integration experience 5+ years with Python and C#/.NET5+ years of AWS development experience (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch)
- Strong REST API and microservices design experience
- Experience with serverless and event-driven integration solutions
- Experience integrating cloud, on-premises, and third-party apps
- Understanding of integration patterns, asynchronous messaging, orchestration, and distributed systems
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated deployments, and DevOps practices
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
