Experience includes both paid and unpaid roles, such as volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, community, student, or social). All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be considered. Your resume should clearly detail your relevant experience, and if qualifying through education, transcripts will be required as part of your application.Basic Requirements for Physician (Family Practice):Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution in the U.S. or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by recognized bodies such as the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. For foreign medical degrees, equivalency to U.S. accredited schools must be demonstrated through certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.Licensure: Candidates must hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician from a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.Graduate Training: After obtaining a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, candidates must have at least one year of supervised clinical experience, such as a one-year internship or the first year of a residency program in an accredited institution.Additionally, to qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following:Residency Training: Applicants must have successfully completed an accredited residency in Family Medicine and possess equivalent experience and training totaling at least four years. Experience cannot substitute for the required residency training.
