Neff Packaging Solutions - Simpsonville KYShipping & Receiving - Paperboard Packaging ManufacturingAbout The Job** JOB IS LOCATED IN SIMPSONVILLE, KY ** DAY SHIFT ** PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE **Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Associate verifies and processes incoming materials in accordance with departmental procedures, and maintains and processes all required documentation. Incoming materials are to be inspected against Purchase Order specifications and issued to inventory to be issued to manufacturing according to daily schedule. Local deliveries/pickups on occasion using our box truck; frequent deliveries/pickups between our two buildings that are located next to each other.ShiftThe current hours are 5am-3pm Monday - Friday as well as additional hours on Saturday when neededEssentialKey Job ResponsibilitiesReview daily shipping requirements with the Shipping Team LeadRetrieve competed jobs and pallets from production areasPerform quality checks of completed jobs prior to shipping to ensure that shipments meet customer specificationsStage shipments in an orderly mannerComplete shipping/job paperwork as requiredUse stretch wrapper to wrap pallets meeting specsLoad and unload trucksPerform daily inspection of equipmentMaintains dock and storage areas in good orderParticipates in cleaning and housekeeping as assignedAssist with pulling cases as neededCycle countingFill sales orders, purchase orders, and internal job ordersSecond checking filled sales orders for accuracyProcessing shipments through UPS, FedEx, and DHLLocal pickups/deliveries using our box truckComply with all company rules, regulations, and safety requirementsOther duties as assigned by managementMinimum QualificationsRequired EducationHigh School Diploma/GEDRequired Licensure And CertificationsMedical Release to drive company vehicleRequired Minimum Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesEffective/clear communications skillsOperate hand jack/forklift/clamp truckProfessionalism; excellent reasoning skillsCompletion of documentation, outstanding accuracyOperation of standard business machines, computers, software, phones, etc.Demonstrate a level of mathematical aptitude necessary to be successful in the positionWorking knowledge, awareness and compliance with ISO requirementsMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishPreferred Qualifications2-3 Years’ experience in a manufacturing/industrial environmentNeff Packaging Solutions proudly produces innovative custom packaging solutions for many of the nation's top Branded Consumer Product companies.
