Learn more and join our mission at ProFarm.com.Responsibilities And DutiesOperates equipment following SOP’s and Supervision instructions.Completes required documentation as required completely and neatly.Ensures proper RM’s and RM quantities are being used by following andunderstanding documentation.Adjusts equipment and process settings to ensure that production is performedper SOP and instructions.Inspects and maintains the equipment to ensure safety and proper processing.Inspects the quality of the product and documents the result at specified intervalsof the production process.Performs routine analytical testing as required to properly control the process.Completes daily shift production logs.Coordinates with lab technicians to ensure product quality.Monitors and reports deviations from production standards.Communicates with other on-site personnel when required.Excellent computer skills; familiarity with operation software.Experience working with lab testers and plant equipment.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalency.LICENSES: Must have a forklift truck certification or be able to obtain thecertification within 30 days of hire.EXPERIENCE: Minimum one-year process and equipment experience in eitherChemical, Pharmaceutical, Fermentation or Bio-tech or related experience.PhysicalESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:Work in cold to hot temperatures; work around dust, fumes, and/or moderate toloud noises (+/- 85 decibels).Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, whichrequire following basic safety precautions.Work with heavy machinery in manufacturing environment, including driving aforklift.Able to lift, pull, carry, and pick-up average to heavy objects weighing up to 50pounds.Able to climb stairs or ladders and deal with heights, sit, bend, stoop and reachfor objects, walk on paved and unpaved surfaces, stand for prolonged periods oftime; operate a computer and keyboard; visual acuity to review writtendocumentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels andon the telephone; manual dexterity to operate a telephone; lift objects horizontallyand vertically; eye-hand coordination to safely and cautiously conduct tasks.Must be able to pass required testing and be able to wear the required protectiveequipment (e.g., ear plugs, mask, respirator, etc.) as assigned and provided bythe company.Ability to safely and effectively coordinate multiple projects/tasks.Must have the ability to work different shifts and overtime. This includes thepossibility of short-term and long-term shift reassignment to match the needs ofthe business.MentalExcellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in workload priorities andability to prioritize tasks.Ability to use the required senses to comprehend, follow instructions and initiatework duties as assigned.Ability to work with little or no supervision.TravelAbility to travel domestically 0-5% of the time when necessary, by typical modesof transportation (e.g., car/truck).The individual should appreciate our entrepreneurial, fast-paced, agile, and dynamicwork setting.
