Lead Designer Mechanical

DescriptionDiscover your exciting roleWe are looking for a Mechanical Designer with advanced SolidWorks skills to design and support complex mechanical systems, produce detailed drawings and documentation, and collaborate with manufacturing in a fast‐paced engineering environment.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesDesign and analyze mechanical systems, equipment and packagingAssist in development of original designs or adaptations requiring specialized experienceCreate and/or modify complex drawings, bills of materials and other documents as requiredAssist in generation of manufacturing assembly procedures and instructional manualsCreate part numbers and engineering change orders in the PLM systemWork independently with limited supervision\Other duties as assignedShow your expertiseEducation, Certifications and ExperienceA.A. Degree plus equivalent experience, or combination of education and experience required3+ years drafting/designing or related work experience requiredPrevious technical experience required2-3+ years equipment, product design, and SolidWorks experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge of drafting and/or design, fundamental concepts, practices and proceduresAbility to support complex projectsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skillsAdvanced SolidWorks skills (>7,500 hrs direct Solidworks experience)Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Non-Solicitation: We are not currently accepting third-party agency candidates for this position.
