This role requires the ability to travel to factories and contract manufacturers to support quality issue resolution and ensure compliant, repeatable manufacturing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage PPAPs and status at internal factories and contract manufacturers (CMs), identify PPAP gaps, inconsistencies, and risks, and drive corrective actions to closurePerform thorough, element-by-element PPAP reviews, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and complianceReview methodically ballooned drawings, dimensional results, and all supporting PPAP documentationSupport or conduct internal factory or contract manufacturer (CM) auditsManage process certification activities for finished goods, assemblies and factory‑produced componentsSupport continuous improvement activities at factories and CMsEvaluate and support approval of factory and CM process changesSupport manufacturing readiness activitiesSupport First Article Inspections (FAIs) as requiredManage, track, and verify the effectiveness of 8D corrective actions issued to factories and contract manufacturersBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience with Quality Control documentationor Associate’s degree with 5+ years of Quality Control documentation experiencePreferred QualificationsKnowledge of AIAG processesDemonstrated problem-solving skills using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis)Experience supporting manufacturing environments for plastics, metals, or electronicsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to review engineering drawings and validate PPAP elementsCompensation And BenefitsIndividuals may be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
