Senior Data Engineer with AI/ML Focus

Core Responsibilities1. Data Architecture & Pipeline Design- Identify good data set and data candidates for building AI based recommendation engine- Design denormalized data structures optimized for LLM consumption- Aggregate data from multiple CRM modules/tables into one for LLM consumption- Implement data quality monitoring and validation frameworks2. CRM Data Expertise- Analyze complex CRM schemas (Accounts, Opportunities, Notes, Order History, Account Actuals)- Understand business relationships between entities and their impact on recommendations- Map data lineage from source systems to AI-ready datasets3. AI/ML Data Preparation- Data preprocessing and normalization for LLM consumption- Create training datasets for recommendation model improvement- Implement data versioning for model reproducibility4. Performance OptimizationQuery optimization for large-scale data aggregationCaching strategies for frequently accessed recommendation dataScalability planning for growing data volumesRequired Technical SkillsCore Data Engineering (Must-Have)SQL Expertise: Advanced Oracle query optimization, complex joins, window functionsETL/ELT Tools: Informatica or similarProgramming: Python basics, SQL, basic understanding of JavaAI/ML Data Specialization (Important)Feature Engineering: Experience with recommendation systems, time-series analysisData Preprocessing: Normalization, encoding, handling missing data for ML modelsVector Databases: Experience with embedding storage and retrievalLLM Data Preparation: Understanding of context windows, token optimization, prompt engineering data needsCRM/Business Systems (Important)- CRM Platforms: SugarCRM, Salesforce, or similar enterprise CRM systems- Data Governance: Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance requirementsDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
