DevOps Engineer

Job Description:What You Will Be Doing: Infrastructure and AutomationBuild and maintain infrastructure using IaC tooling.Improve deployment environments and networking in AWS and Azure.CI/CDBuild, manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWSCode Build/Deploy/Pipeline.Migrate repositories and pipelines to GitHub and AWS including reimplementing build/test/deploy steps.Establish best practices, including environment promotion, rollback strategies and release automation.Monitoring and ObservabilityLead the evaluation and rollout of a centralized monitoring and alerting solution.Define metrics and thresholds for infrastructure applications and services.Implement dashboards and automated alerting for incident response.Security and ReliabilityCollaborate with Engineering and IT to harden infrastructure, manage IAM, manage secrets and ensure compliance.Improve system resiliency, backups and disaster recovery planning.Participate in post-incident reviews and lead reliability improvements.Collaboration and DocumentationWork with Engineering, QA, and IT on deployment operations and strategies.Create and maintain internal documentation for infrastructure, pipelines and tooling.Provide support and training for developers around infrastructure.Skills and Qualifications: 4+ years of hands-on DevOps, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering experienceStrong experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc) and working knowledge oProficiency with Infrastructure as Code using tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, OpenTofu, etc...Experience managing and migrating CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub actions, Gitlab pipelines and AWS CodeBuild/Deploy/PipelineDemonstrated ability to migrate repositories and pipelines to GitHubScripting experience with Python, Bash and similar toolsFamiliarity with containerized services (ex. Docker, ECS) and secure deployment practicesStrong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and operational beset practices.Experience evaluating and implementing observability tools..
