Night Shift LVN Charge Nurse

*Job Summary*The Charge Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care within a long term care setting. This position involves overseeing nursing staff, coordinating resident care activities, and acting as a liaison between patients, families, and the medical team. The Charge Nurse is responsible for maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.*Duties* Supervise nursing staff and delegate tasks to ensure effective patient care delivery. Conduct comprehensive resident assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate care plans. Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information. Manage medical records accurately and ensure timely documentation of resident information. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in emergency medicine situations, ensuring readiness for critical incidents. Perform IV insertions and other necessary medical procedures as required. Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers to enhance the overall patient experience.
