Job DescriptionPosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join a growing legal team in downtown Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling insurance defense and premises liability matters and be comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution.Practice Areas:Civil LitigationInsurance DefensePremises LiabilityResponsibilities:Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters, including insurance defense and premises liability casesDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondenceHandle depositions, hearings, mediations, and negotiationsCollaborate with clients, carriers, and internal team membersMaintain accurate case files and meet litigation deadlinesQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license and in good standing with the state barMinimum of 2 years of civil litigation experienceExperience in insurance defense and premises liability preferredStrong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $115,000-$130,000 depending on experienceBenefits package may include health insurance, PTO, and professional development opportunitiesHybrid schedule may be considered after onboarding
